Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BrokerBase, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

Use License

Permission is granted to use BrokerBase for your equipment financing brokerage and related business purposes. This license does not include:

  • Modifying, reverse-engineering, or copying our software or materials
  • Using the service for purposes other than as intended
  • Removing copyright or proprietary notations
  • Sublicensing or transferring access to third parties except as permitted

User Accounts

To use our platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

User Responsibilities

When using this service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your business and clients
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Use the service in good faith and in compliance with these terms and applicable law
  • Obtain any required consent from clients before sharing their data or inviting them to the portal

No Financial Advice

BrokerBase is a CRM and workflow tool for equipment financing brokers. We do not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Rates, terms, and calculations shown in the platform are for your internal use and must be verified with your lenders and clients. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of quotes and disclosures you send to clients and for compliance with applicable lending and disclosure laws.

Calculators and Rate Information

Our calculators (TVM, loan sale, amortization) and rate references (e.g., AFR rates) are provided for convenience only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of calculations or that rates are current or suitable for any particular transaction. You must verify all figures with your lenders and clients before binding any deal. See our Disclosures page for additional information.

Quotes and Proposals

Quotes and proposals you create and send through the platform are your responsibility. We are not a party to any financing or brokerage agreement between you, your clients, and lenders. You are responsible for ensuring that quotes and disclosures comply with applicable law (e.g., TILA and state requirements) and for the accuracy of all terms and rates you present to clients.

Client Portal

If you invite clients to use the client portal, you are responsible for their access and for the content they can see. You must obtain any necessary consent for electronic communications and document delivery. Use of the client portal may be subject to our E-Sign Disclosure.

Transactions and Deals

BrokerBase facilitates your workflow but is not a party to any financing, lease, or brokerage transaction. We are not responsible for:

  • Accuracy of rates, terms, or calculations you enter or display
  • Disputes between you, your clients, and lenders
  • Regulatory or compliance obligations of your brokerage
  • Performance or non-performance of any third party

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal purpose
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or other users' data
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users

Limitation of Liability

BrokerBase is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to reliance on calculators, rates, or quote data, or any business loss related to deals or clients.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
